Joo Young Kim

I am currently working as a Senior Researcher in the Digital Transformation R&D Department at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH).

I completed my B.S. and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Hanyang University and can handle most bio-signals and medical images.
During my academic journey, I conducted research at the Smart Ubiquitous Healthcare Lab under the guidance of Professor In Young Kim.

I have extensive experience in analyzing various medical data, including MRI, CT, and Biosignals.
In particular, I am proficient in designing complete systems for handling electrical biosignals, which involves hardware design, firmware coding, and data analysis.
Additionally, I have applied various deep learning techniques for processing and analyzing multimodal data, such as audio, video, and thermal images.
My research interest lies in designing deep learning networks and developing analytical algorithms suitable for analyzing multimodal data.

I am dedicated to integrating diverse data sources to achieve better analysis results and aspire to apply and innovate deep learning in various fields closely related to our daily lives.
